About the Job
We are looking for a genuine and approachable person who's willing to go that extra mile to join our team as a Remote Support Technician at our Beaverton office. The ideal person will be responsible for providing remote and in-house support to our clients for a variety of technology related issues using via Remote Desktop technologies, over the phone or via email. It is essential for the Remote Support Technician to deliver excellent technical support and customer-care services during each and every interaction. Therefore a proven track record for providing exceptional customer service is required.
Technical Skills:
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant hands-on experience.
- Must have an intermediate knowledge of Microsoft technologies including Office Suite, Outlook, Windows Server, Windows XP, Vista and Exchange.
- Must have an intermediate knowledge in the fundamentals of networking technologies and theories.
- Knowledge and experience with Apple, VMware, Cisco and Linux a plus.
- A+, Network+ and/or Microsoft certifications are desired.
Basic Requirements:
- Passion for computers and technology
- Enjoys interacting and building relationships with clients
- Is fun to be around!
- Must be well organized, have excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to multi-task and handle stressful situations
- Ability to effectively manage your time and company resources
- Must be completely reliable
- Ability to move, lift and install equipment weighing up to 50 lbs.
